Evolution of Energy

Image
From the evolution of man on earth from early man to the technological geek, oil has become the major source of energy which was extracted from different sources. Some of the key sources are as follows from 18th century to till data. Energy History and the evolution of mankind from Early Man to Modern Man    The evolution of energy took place from the 15th century with the gradual development of technology. As man is developing himself from the early man stage to the highly intelligent person on the planet several technological changes took place in the development of energy and power division.  With the following time you may understand the evolution of the energy sector in the world.    18th century Industrial revolution Use of energy relied only on muscular and biomass energy (main firewood used for heating and cooking purpose Work is done with the help of labors and animals Other sources of energy such as windmills, and watermills were present but the overall contributi

Shaping Geopolitics through Renewable Energy

Image
Renewable energy is generation and rapid increase in installation capacities across the world. Harvesting renewable energies does not deplete the resources or create environmental impacts at a minimal level. In fact, in many instances, the only environmental cost is that of constructing the infrastructure needed to harvest, store, and transmit the resultant energy. As the effects of anthropologic climate change i.e., climate change caused by human activity start to manifest, renewables are at the forefront of most geopolitical discourse. There is no escaping the simple fact that our civilization requires electricity to function but self-sustainability is at most needed in regular activities. Several countries around the world are dependent upon importing energy from other nations in order to meet their requirements.  International relations are more finely tuned than ever to the energy and power markets. The unstoppable march of climate change is bringing with it a growing awareness th

Why Wind Turbine Blades are hard to recycle?

Wind turbines are the oldest technology that is developed since 1800 century for different purposes. The blades that are used made of different materials like wood, metal, polymers, etc. The installation of wind turbines with three blades in different parts of the world, for the production of electricity which is the major commodity in the industry 4.0 and further.  Old model wind turbines are 60 feet height which has the capacity to generate power to three modern houses. Whereas, modern wind turbines with 525 feet (onshore) and 850 feet (offshore), can supply power to 460 homes. The onshore wind turbine blades are 170 feet which is equal to 4 school buses. The lifespan of these blades is around 8 - 10 years. The current possibility to reuse old blades are: Shredding - further shredding - refining Cement factor - firing in Calens  Some of the reusable of wind turbine blades: Padisterin bridges Signal towers Fencing Playgrounds Public monument Bicycle shears All the above can be done w

World’s Largest Single Rooftop solar power plant in India

Solar panels installed on the roof with a capacity of 11.5 MW in Punjab state in India India’s solar mission which has kept at a target of 175 GW and the government is trying to keep its word to generate power from all kinds of Renewable Energy Resources. As it is focused on Solar, Wind and Biomass power generation technologies. We all know that a roof is the zero cost of land and uses the space for solar panel installation. There is no requirement of a special setup is installing the solar roof. Depending upon the roof size and shading and direction of the sunlight is considered for setting up the solar panels. But, most of them have small or medium roofs that can generate in kiloWatts (kW) or Megawatt (MW) scale. In Amritsar, there is an installation od 11.5 MW capacity of a solar power plant which is completely covered with solar roof which will benefit 8000 households was built by Radha Saomi Satsang Beas (RSSB), a religious organization in Punjab. Recycle Marts development in urban and rural areas

Image
In most of the western countries and developing countries are launching the new concept called the “ Recycling Malls ” in major cities and towns across their countries. The main objective of the recycle mart is to sell the used products (ex: used plastic, glass, paper, etc.). This is an innovative way of making things and helping in reducing environmental pollution in the surroundings across the globe.   There are different kinds of pollutions that are generated effecting Air, Water, Land, Food, Sea, Ocean pollutions. It is damaging the EARTH gradually and impacting directly and indirectly that are highly toxic and increase the scope of new harmful viruses etc.   Issue: Wastes are different types that are generated in the world which is mostly produced by man. Anything that is produced excess and unable to control is added into pollutant list. The recycling plants are getting adopted across the globe with different techniques, methodologies and Strategic ways in collection
